MORTON - Marilyn K. Ingold, 77, of Morton, passed away at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Peoria to Curtis and Helen (Rayburn) Morr. She married Jake Ingold on April 29, 1961, in Groveland. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2015.
Surviving are one daughter, Angie Mason of East Peoria; two sons, Greg (Dawn) Ingold of Morton and Mitch (Jessica) Ingold of Rochester, Ill.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Lucy) Morr of Tremont and Lee Morr of Groveland; and two sisters, Marge (Don) Sabin of Sidney, Neb., and June (Keith) Stoller of Morton.
Marilyn had worked as a secretary at Caterpillar Inc.
She was a member of Eastside Bible Church in Morton.
She babysat the children of members of the Christian Women's Club during their Bible studies.
Marilyn enjoyed going to garage sales, reading and traveling. She also enjoyed watching the high school basketball state tournaments.
She dearly loved and cherished her family and her friends from Bunco and the Red Hat Society, her walking partners and church group.
Cremation will be accorded. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.


The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Illinois CancerCare in Peoria, where memorials may be made to the foundation in memory of Marilyn.
